Alpha Bosses Guide
Complete Dinoblade Alpha boss guide: Shield, Stick, Speed, Tank, Mokusei the Titan, and every full-game predator beyond the demo with strategies and achievements.
Demo Bosses vs Full-Game Alphas
The Dry Canyons demo ends after Kasei the Tyrant — three bosses that teach parrying, summoning, and multi-phase weapon swaps. The full campaign continues through mist-shrouded jungles and additional biomes guarded by Alpha predators, each with unique weapons, summon passives, and Steam achievements.
Gaming Bolt's July 27 GREAT review highlights Alpha variety as Dinoblade's strongest asset: Stick tests parry windows, Shield teaches spacing, Speed demands fast blade clashes, Tank absorbs punishment, and Mokusei the Titan serves as a slow sky-eater heavy-hitter before the meteor extinction finale.

Early Full-Game Alpha Bosses
Shield — defensive Alpha with stamina-regen summon passive after parries. Unlocks BROKEN PLATES achievement. Stick — parry-window specialist; wider deflect timing rewards practice from Kira fights. Speed — fast blade clashes requiring aggressive posture breaks. Tank — endurance check with heavy guard-break combos.
Dosei the Giant Claw, Red Ash, Haku, Ketsuro, Reaper & Shade, Horn, and Akai Tsuki appear deeper in the campaign. Each drops Boss SP and potentially new weapons. Arenas stay readable with minimal clutter per Gaming Bolt — useful for learning telegraphs without environmental distractions.

Late Campaign — Mokusei and Beyond
Mokusei the Titan is the sky-eater Alpha — slow telegraphs, enormous reach, and THE SKY-EATER FALLS achievement (24.6% unlock rate at launch week). Invest Health and Stamina before this fight; only about one in four Steam players reach Mokusei during the first week.
After Mokusei, the campaign builds toward the meteor extinction encounter — the finale Fextralife and GameNGGuide teased pre-launch. Defeating the final boss unlocks Boss Rush Mode and the single story ending confirmed for the July 2026 launch window.

General Alpha Boss Strategy
Every Alpha follows the demo combat loop: spend stamina to stay safe, recover with perfect deflects, build Resolve for Instinct Counters, and save Resonance for real openings. Hit-and-retreat beats greed — two light combos plus one special per stagger window is safer than full strings.
Rest at Save Stones before each Alpha — the July 2026 QoL patch refills Health Stones on interaction. Max camera zoom before large-arena fights. Toggle sprint on controller if holding the stick fatigues your thumb during long sessions.
