Kira the Exile

Beat Kira the Exile in Dinoblade: attack patterns, parry tips, summoning skill reward, and first mini-boss strategy for the Dry Canyons demo.

Boss Profile

Kira the Exile is the first mini-boss in the Dinoblade demo — your introduction to posture-based combat and the summoning system. Defeating Kira unlocks a summoning skill that calls a ghost version of the boss for a single powerful attack on cooldown.

The fight is intentionally moderate in difficulty. Kira telegraphs attacks clearly, making this the ideal arena to practice perfect parries before facing Axe and Kasei the Tyrant.

Attack Patterns

Kira alternates between quick jabs and a three-hit combo ending in a heavy overhead swing. The overhead has a long wind-up — perfect deflect window. After stagger, Kira is vulnerable for roughly three seconds.

Stay at mid range to react to each telegraph. Rolling backward on the jab combo often puts you out of punish range — roll sideways instead to stay close for counterattacks.

Rewards and Next Steps

Kira drops Boss SP for the Souls Art tree and unlocks the summoning page entry. Immediately spend points on Meteor Slice or Alpha Roar before continuing. Test the summon on the next group of enemies to learn the cooldown rhythm.

After Kira, explore optional paths for hidden Boss SP before engaging Axe — extra points make the second mini-boss significantly easier.
